I will be starting a journal of what the dogs have accomplished.
3-29-03 It has been along time since we've updated this site so let me fill you in on what the dogs have been up to. Bentley and his mommy I have started Junior Showmanship. They have attended many handling classes. Bentley competed in two matches. The first one we did okay. In the seconfd one we got first in Novice Senior. :) Yesterday Bents turned a year old.
12/16/02 I just got home from a walk with Abby and Bentley. Bentley heeled most of the time even though he wasn't being bribed with cheese.
12/15/02 Bentley went swimming in the cold river today. He did wonderful retrieves. He was completely soaked getting into the jeep. Oh well, atleast he had fun! When we got home he had to be put in his crate almost all night since he was so wet. He was very tired so he settled down. Swimming is great exercise for him and very convenient. After about twelve retrieves he is dead tired. I am hoping this type of exercise will help him lose weight. He is a few pounds over weight.
